- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the basil pesto, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the trimmed green beans and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they're not overcrowded to ensure even roasting.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly blistered around the edges.
- Remove from oven and immediately toss with lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
Notes
Use fresh green beans for best results. For extra crunch, add toasted pine nuts or slivered almonds. Can be prepped ahead by keeping green beans and pesto mixture separate until ready to roast.
