- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil until evenly coated. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the beans are tender and starting to brown at the edges.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving to brighten the flavors. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
For the crispiest results, make sure your green beans are completely dry before tossing with oil. Freshly grated Parmesan works best for maximum flavor and meltability. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet - use two sheets if necessary to ensure proper air circulation.
